Imitating the elegant 1900’s décor of the hotel, the restaurant oozes class and refined sophistication. A large dining area, adorned with mirrors and gentle lighting, The French Restaurant is a gentle reminder that restaurant decoration need not be limited to surreal paintings and photographs of Manchester. This elegance isn’t restricted to the aesthetics though and the menu keeps to the same high standard. The service here is also noteworthy, walking a fine line between intrusive and attentive – don’t expect to be asked if you’re enjoying your meal halfway through a mouthful.
