A distinctly Eastern experience, don’t let the modern layout of Rajdoot fool you – this is a restaurant with its roots firmly planted in authentic Indian cuisine. A delicate mixture of original dishes and modern fare, the kitchen team are staffed with chefs who understand their material (most of them were brought over from India). Subtle flavours and exotic herbs and spices give a new angle on even the most homogenised of dishes, providing a refreshing and often surprising dining experience. The only disappointment comes from the service that seemingly fluctuates between the extremes of intrusive or absent, although this is a minor niggle and should not detract too substantially from this sublime venue.Check reader reviews for Rajdoot Find Rajdoot on map |

This is one Manchester's oldest established traditional Indian restaurants. The restaurant rarely gets too busy and so some complain of a lack of vibrant atmosphere but they probably miss the point. This restaurant offers traditional Indian cuisine cooked by a masterchef. It's not the place to go if you are looking for a riotous time.
