Rated 8.4/10 (5 reviews)
This was the first of Croma’s Italian-style restaurants to open in the UK – now they can be found in most of the leading cities of the world.
There’s a buzzy, city-type feel, populated by the movers and shakers of Manchester.
Unique pizza toppings, sophisticated atmosphere and affordable prices.
If you fancy a medium-priced Italian meal in lively surroundings this is the place to go.

The food was excellent and the staff where friendly, attentive and unobtrusive. The house wine (both red and white) deserves a special mention as it was exceptional, both in taste and value, and considerably better than the "plonk" you often have to endure. Croma has a warm and inviting atmosphere which provides a hugely enjoyable eating experience which has a modest impact on the bank balance. I'm pretty sure we will be returning on a regular basis to enjoy the food, wine and hospitality. Love it by Zeta (rated 9/10) Fab place to go for lunch or tea. Have been a number of times now and it never disapoints. Food is really good and the prices won't break the bank. It has a lovely atmosphere, always busy, very grown up decor, makes you feel your in a much swankier place. Its a winner for me. Fab by lissy (rated 8/10) Had a really good meal in the City centre Croma a few weeks ago. Good choice for vegetarians and not the usual boring stuff! Really want to try the canneloni with feta next time. Am really excited that they are opening a restaurant in Prestwich later in the year- can go for lunch! A good value great atmosphere after work dinner venue. Great food by John Billinsworth (rated 8/10) I'm a fan of the Croma in Chorlton-cum-Hardy so was pleased to find a sister venue in town. The food is still fantastic, but the atmosphere is far more grown up. Less Chorlton children everywhere! This is in no way a sad loss, if you ask me; Croma in town finally realises the potential for classy, sophisticated dining that it always had - and missed out on - in Chorlton. Great Atmosphere by Will Minster (rated 8/10) What a great place. Told about it by a friend who lives in Manchester. A kind of slightly up-market Pizza Express but with a more original menu and some excellent pizza toppings. It's busy. It's buzzy. But the service still manages to make the whole thing look effortless. Does tend to get full of city types at lunch-time but it's a fact that those in-the-know tend to get drawn to same type of places - and this is one of those places - so deal with it or try elsewhere Write your own review for Croma |
